Hazel the Horse needs a home
Hazel is a sweet quarter horse mare that came in with six other horses in #operationOctoberfreedom. Hazel had some dental issues that have slowed down her weight gain, and although she has not reached our goal weight for her, she is healthy enough to be cleared for adoption at this time. As always, our goal is to be 100% up front with potential adopters. With that being said, Hazel is a joy to be around. She loves attention and enjoys being around people. She is currently being worked with on her ground manners and standing for the farrier. Currently, her manners for the farrier... are very lacking. She improved on her last visit, but still needs work. She has started some ground work to prepare her under saddle evaluation. While our trainers have not stepped up on her yet, she does stand very well to be saddled and has absolutely no qualms about it. For that reason, we think it is likely she is broke to ride. She does have a club foot, but it has not caused any issues for her thus far. Hazel's adoption fee is currently set at $150.
